Taking responsibility for a global industry event

With great pleasure and gratitude, we are delighted to share special news with our readers: the trade journal AAC Worldwide has been commissioned by the European Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Association (EAACA) to organize the 8^th ICAAC – International Conference on Autoclaved Aerated Concrete. This important conference will take place from 1-3 September 2027 in the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul. With Istanbul as the host city, the choice deliberately reflects a region with a long history in AAC and one that is easily accessible from around the world.

For us, this commission is far more than an organizational assignment. It represents trust, appreciation, and recognition of our many years of work for the international AAC industry. For many years, AAC Worldwide has accompanied the global development of autoclaved aerated concrete with well-founded technical articles, technological innovations, market analyses, and reports from research and practice. Over time, our publication has built a strong reputation and today serves as a global source of information within the AAC industry.

Organizing the 8^th ICAAC is a natural continuation of this commitment. The conference is one of the most important international platforms for science, industry, and networking within the sector. It brings together experts from around the world, promotes interdisciplinary exchange, and stimulates innovation, sustainability, and technological advancement. Due to the long intervals between the events, the ICAAC offers a rare opportunity for exchange within the industry and remains the only conference with a clearly international focus – an event not to be missed!
